Biography: Brianne Toole
changing seasonsBrianne Toole is an experienced therapist whose warm and professional approach follows a solution-focused mindset to solve problems with her clients. Since 1993 she has served her clients and the community at large in promoting psychological healing and positive life changes. She began with a well-developed passion for helping others in a position as a community social worker. She went on to work with troubled youth and their families and wrote a grant to provide services for the Latin American community. The grant was accepted and the program she developed evolved into a regional grass roots program that now services a large number of individuals and families.

After these successes, Brianne went to work as a Family Therapist in New York State for an established mental health program. There, she held the title of Supervisor of Clinical Services, supervising a staff of 20 clinical employees, and learned the management demands and other requirements necessary for running a smooth, effective practice.

Brianne then joined a large mental health out-patient practice in Massachusetts. She served on a prestigious Cognitive Behavioral Treatment Team for Anxiety Disorders whose approach is nationally recognized. She also served on an Eating Disorder Treatment Team and a Dialectical Behavioral Treatment Team for the treatment of personality disorders. These treatment teams were affiliated with the local hospital.

Brianne soon opened her own practice characterized by community involvement and a passion for helping clients overcome challenges. She also served as an adjunct instructor and supervised Masters level clinical interns at Smith College, and State University of New York schools of social work, and Antioch University. She also served as an adjunct instructor for the Berkshire Community College Psychology Department.
